⛳️ Cobra Aerojet Driver Mini Review

...more speed?

Hey fellow golfer, welcome to the Friday edition of the Red Birdie Golf newsletter, here’s what we got for you today:

FRIDAY GOLF TIP

5 Etiquette Rules For Beginners

  1. The other golfers don’t care how you play…As long as you keep the pace. No need for excuses or apologies, just play your game and do it quickly.

  2. Keep the pace. This is also part of the first rule and it is also one of the most important thing for beginners playing with more experienced golfers. Do your best not to hold anyone back.

  3. Stay out of the way on the green and fairway. Make sure not to stand in or walk across someone’s line to the pin. You can walk ahead of your group if you are off to the side.

  4. Treat the course like a state park and “leave no trace.” Fill your divots, rake your bunker, and pick up your tees.

  5. Have fun and watch your temper/emotions.

COURSE OF THE WEEK

A beautiful golf course in Saudi Arabia and where one of the recent LIV tournaments was held.

The course is set with a panoramic view of the Red Sea as its backdrop and

incredibly lush greens and beautiful fairways in the middle of the desert.

Aside from the course itself, the accommodations are top notch as well.

Royal Greens is one of the most sought-after destinations in Saudi Arabia and one of the nicest courses in the country as well.

NEW GEAR MINI REVIEW

The Cobra Aerojet looks like a driver from the future and it performs exceedingly well when it comes to producing ball speed.

Cobra went for a design that maximizes aerodynamics and increases swing speed and ball speed.

The Aerojet does almost all of those things.

The club face wraps around the sole of the club and features 15 distinct “hot areas” that allow golfers that many chances to hit a sweet spot.

The combination of swing speed, face technology, and forgiveness make this one of the best drivers on the market for golfers of any skill level.

Pros

  • Produces incredibly fast swing speeds.

  • The club face has multiple sweet spots and and offers a lot of forgiveness.

  • Produces low spin and a lot of accuracy.

  • It is a very consistent driver for all of the extra swing speed and distance it produces.

Cons

  • One of the more expensive drivers, especially for Cobra.

  • Does not offer much in the way of workability and draws/fades.

Until Monday!
