⛳️ Dad Joke...Tiger Woods at the Masters

Hey fellow golfer, welcome to the Monday edition of the Red Birdie Golf newsletter, here’s what we got for you today:
TOURNAMENT RECAP
PGA TOUR
After successfully defending his title at the Shriners Children’s Open, Tom Kim could find himself in the world rankings top-10.

It was Kim’s third PGA Tour win and he is the youngest three-time winner on Tour since Tiger Woods.
Kim won the event by a single stroke and played well down the stretch with some great clutch shot making.
Kim continues to play very well and very consistently so look for him at the top of the leaderboard a few more times this year.
Our picks for the tournament, J.T. Potson and Si Woo Kim, had much different tournaments this past weekend.
Potson finished T3 and was in contention throughout.
He finished the tournament just 2 shots off the lead.
Kim, on the other hand, did not make the cut at +2.
LIV TOUR
Two big names, Brooks Koepka and Talor Gooch, played each other in a playoff for the LIV Championship at Royal Greens with Koepka pulling out the victory in the end.

Harold Varner came in third for the tournament.
Gooch’s playoff hole loss was also a major win as he took home the overall points title for the season along with an $18 million bonus.
Gooch won 3 times on the LIV Tour for the year.
Koepka took home $4 million for the win.
The team competition saw the Fireballs take home the win, the team is made up of Garcia, Ancer, Ortiz, and Chacarra.
The team received $3 million for winning the team competition.
DP TOUR
Mathieu Pavon took home the win at the Acciona Open de España this past weekend on the European Tour.

Pavon shot a -7 Sunday to take home the tournament by 5 strokes and leave everyone in his dust.
This was Pavon’s first DP Tour win.
Jon Rahm, our pick and pretty much everyone else’s pick to take home the championship, finished T9.
Look for Rahm to round back into form soon and begin showing up at the top of the leaderboard consistently.
LPGA TOUR
Angel Yin took home her first LPGA Tour win at the Buick LPGA Shanghai Open.

Yin birdied the first playoff hole to beat world No. 1 Lilia Vu and take home the championship.
The returning champion from a couple of years ago Danielle Kang finished T17 at -9.
The LPGA Tour has changed quite a bit since Kang won two in a row in Shanghai.
GOLF FASHION
The Zero Restriction Power Torque golf jacket is flexible, warm, and waterproof.
With cold weather coming just around the corner, golfers living in the northern part of the US have to find something to wear to keep them warm but also allows for full range of motion.
This jacket does just that.
The Zero Restriction Power Torque also looks great.
There are not a lot of color options, but the black version looks great with the lighter colored zippers.
There are also ample pockets to keep your hands warm and your things dry.
DAD JOKE OF THE WEEK
Tiger Woods Getting a Room at the Masters
Tiger Woods walks into the Masters lobby and asks for a room. The clerk responds, "I am sorry sir we are booked, but there is a hotel about a 4 iron down the road."
Tiger says, "But I'm playing in the Master's tomorrow."
The clerk replies again that they are booked, but there is a hotel about a 4 iron down the road.
To this Tiger says, "But I am Tiger Woods!"
The clerk then says, "Oh! For you it's just a 9 iron then."
Until Wednesday!
