For the PGA Tour, the predictions have to be for each of the 4 majors.

For the LIV Tour, we will choose the team that will win the season-ending championship.

Hovland to LIV — No Way

Viktor Hovland, the fourth-ranked golfer in the world, quickly shut down any rumors that he may follow Jon Rahm to the LIV Tour this year.

Hovland is just 26 and had a two tournament stretch that was as good as anyone has ever had on Tour in 2023.

If he can build off his great year, Hovland could compete for the title of “Best Golfer on Tour.”

Hovland’s career earnings, after winning more than $14 million at the Tour Championship, is around $45 million.

Rahm just signed a more than $550 million deal to sign with LIV.

Hovland will never earn that much money for playing golf no matter how many times he wins on Tour.

That is why, even though he is not moving to LIV, he can completely understand why Rahm (or anyone else for that matter) would.

Artificial Intelligence in Golf

Artificial Intelligence (AI) seems to be affecting almost every aspect of our life, and that includes our golf game.

AI will affect many different aspects of golf both now and in the future, but one of the biggest influences it has already had on the game is in club and ball creation.

Callaway was at the forefront of this technology as it used AI to test multiple club face designs without ever creating a club.

These small but critically important club changes can be made virtually through AI until the optimal performance of each club is reached.

Rather than creating thousands of prototypes, AI allows the test to be done on the computer with ultimately one club being produced.
